Why This Brand Exists
I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. During that time I learned something that changed the direction of my life: the people who looked like me were underrepresented in the clinical trials that could save my life.
The Olandus Foundation was built to change that. The Made Man Apparel was built to fund it.
The brand started with one idea. The strongest words in the world should not live in one language. They should be worn, in every language, by anyone who claims them.
We started with two lines. LOVE. And MAN. Each carries words that mean strength, dignity, presence, and care — written in the languages of the people who wear them. Then we built more. A family of brands, each with its own purpose. Each one telling a piece of the same story.
